Specs
Dan Electro guitars are nothing short of quirky. We should probably first discuss the neck thing–yeah, they’re all like that. You lose a little bit of wiggle room past the 15th fret, but that’s intentional. For its budget, the intricacy of the specs is mind-blowing. The tremolo pickups provide genre versatility for players. There are just two control knobs: volume and tone. The whammy bar is super flexible, making room for tons of cool dives.
Aesthetics
This model features a rosewood fretboard on a maple neck with no inlays so you can really focus on the stunning cream finish. And that cute little red eel swimming on the body! Details like that are what remind us that guitar manufacturers are artists, too. The letter ‘D’ at what would be the “eel’s” head looks like a little eyeball, always watching to make sure you’re practicing your scales.

While it looks like a toy, the 59X is certainly not childish. We think that it could be very versatile to a number of different players. However, the aesthetics alone may be enough to convince you.
