Harley Benton HB-35 Plus, Lemon Flame

Harley Benton is the house brand of Musikhaus Thomann, the largest music retailer in Europe, and the HB-35 is the guitar that made the brand famous: a full ES-335 recipe at a price that should not be possible. This is the Plus version, which adds a flamed maple top and Roswell humbuckers (the Roswell logo is on the neck pickup cover) over the standard model.

Specs

• Arched laminated maple semi-hollow body with a mahogany center block
• Flamed maple top in Lemon Flame (Lemon Drop burst), cream body and neck binding
• Set Canadian maple neck, C profile, 24.7" scale, 42 mm nut, double-action truss rod
• 22 medium frets, pearloid block inlays
• Two Roswell vintage-voiced humbuckers, 3-way toggle, two volume and two tone
• Tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, chrome hardware, sealed tuners

Condition: Excellent. Clean top, back and neck with no notable wear; frets show little play. Set up and checked in our shop. Includes gig bag.

Why buy one here: Harley Benton does not sell through US dealers, so this is the easy way to get one without the shipping from Germany and the wait. It is a lot of guitar for the money, and the Plus upgrades are the ones people pay to add to the standard HB-35.
